- She is no longer content to crawl unless tired or something like a towel or Mardi Gras beads make her feet feel funny. If she's crawling, I know it's time for a nap. This girl wants to WALK!
- Sometimes when Dave and/or I are on the couch, Julia will stand with her back up against the couch chewing on whatever toy has captured her interest. About every three to five minutes, she takes off, makes a wobbly circle around the rug and returns to her spot.
- When she rotates in a clockwise direction, she keeps her right foot planted as a pivot point and only moves the left foot. But when turning around counterclockwise, she takes baby steps with both feet.
- I caught her the other day not just chewing on my shoes, but actually trying to put them on! Could this signal the end of her shoe hatred? We'll be measuring her foot and going shoe shopping this weekend.
- She loves tummies. Her favorite game is to lift your shirt, look at your belly, laugh and laugh and laugh, then pull your shirt back down. Repeat. Over and over and over. Oddly, she has very little interest in her OWN tummy.
