Echo and Julia

Echo is slowly becoming somewhat accustomed to Julia. She'll sniff Julia all over especially when Julia has a dirty diaper. When Julia cries, Echo comes to us and whines. Not sure if it's because she's worried about Julia or just knows that we can stop the noise in some magic two-legger way. The other morning, I was sitting in bed feeding Julia with Echo curled up near my feet. Just for fun, I set Julia down so her head was resting on Echo's butt. Echo turned, saw what was touching her, got up and jumped off the bed. She gave me the most indignant look, went in her crate and refused to come out. So, not quite best buds just yet.

Here's Echo showing off her new 'do. I told the groomer to shave her the same length all over, even the face. She looks like a completely different dog, but she's still our sweet Echo.And here is Julia showing off how grownup she looks wearing her footie pajamas. Dave even caught a smile on camera.
