We went to Dave's company BBQ on Saturday. The party was held at Mike's house up in Norris, TN. I took my camera, but left it in the truck like a goob. No pictures. We had fun talking with Cindy, Mike's wife, and hanging out with the people from work. We didn't win the sponge toss competition and didn't even enter the three-legged race ... pause for you to get a good look at the great picture in your head of the two of us in a three-legged race ... or the sack race. Nor did we win any of the door prizes. The enormous piles of food from Buddy's BBQ went a long way towards healing our disappointment. I even remembered sunscreen so we left nearly as lily white as we arrived. (If anyone wants to hear me brag on Dave and go on and on and on about the great things his bosses said about him, just give me a call.)
