Now we add "Turning on the stove top burners."
For the second time in as many months, I turned on the wrong burner and managed to melt both pudding cups and a tote bag. (Last time I melted the front cover off my mom's cookbook!) Some might think I should use this as a reason to stop being so lazy and clean up my kitchen so I don't have to store things that melt on my stove top. I just see it as an excuse to put Dave in charge of the cooking! :P (Jackie, if you click on the picture and look at the bigger version, I'm sure you'll recognize the tote bag.)

Good job! That's like Thankdgiving, when I didn't realize the grill top had been cut on, and a stack of plastic bowls melted, dripped down onto the unit, and started blazing.
I have caught a towel on fire at least twice - once from a burner and once from the oven, and melted the inside of a burner cover. All three of these incidents happened at my last apartment I lived in at SFA. I've learned to be more careful since then, but it's only a matter of time. I'm really klutzy sometimes.
Oh, I didn't include the number of times I've caught the oven or toaster oven on fire. It's just embarrassing.
