Echo was unsure how to approach the dead mouse in a trap in our garage this morning. Fortunately, Dave noticed her curiosity and found the thing and threw it away before I knew about it. So, we now have at least one less mouse in the house today. (Obviously, no photographic evidence exists. Gross. Just take my word for it.) Ever since Echo heard and tried to get at one under the sink, I haven't found any evidence that more are in the house. Maybe they thought the garage was safer. HA!
(A small side note: I'm all for trapping and releasing the little pests, but they lose that privilege when I find evidence of their frolics through my silverware drawer. Poor little mousies.)

My friend Melissa and her boyfriend Jake had raccoons living in their kitchen of the house they rent. Melly opened the cabinet one day and got a glimpse of one in there. It was kind of a nightmare.
So it could be worse :)
