80 Years

We went to Nashville this weekend to celebrate my Grandma's 80th birthday.

On the way, we introduced Julia to powdered donuts ...
She liked them.

Grandma laughed ...

and Bev played "Happy Birthday" on her new piano ...

We only made Grandma blow out three candles ...

And then we wanted to get a picture of all three kids with their great-grandmother. Remember Julia's aversion to posing for "important" photos? This day was no exception ...
Can you guess which of my children is pouting and saying, "NO MOMMY!" right then?

This is the best one of all the kids that we got.

Julia looks like she is in an absolute powdered donut daze!

She and SG remind me SO MUCH of each other. SG has an aversion to pic posing as well. But aside from that, it looks like you all had a lovely celebration!

If your Southern roots go back as far as mine, I'm sure there's a cousin-link somewhere in those girls' history! If we ever met in real life, we'd have to double-check when leaving to make sure we didn't get them mixed up!
