Today we all did our best. But it says something that this is the picture we got of all three kids together ...

Can you tell who the problem child was? When looking through the big family portrait pictures to choose the best one our photographer could only comment, "Well, she looks the least sad in this one." Maybe it's a good thing we didn't get a super cute picture of her since I don't really want that black eye to be hanging on our wall in an 8x10.
(I shouldn't put all the blame on Julia. Dax was Mr. Fussy and added his own set of difficulties. It certainly was an experience. I think we'll stick to candid shots from now on. At least I occasionally catch a smile.)

LOL. Sorry, friend. Sounds like a trip. But thanks for the laugh, Julia!
We have a running joke that we don't say the 'P' (picture) word out loud once the appointment has been set up. If they don't know they are getting pics, they are less likely to mutilate their faces...right?
I knew I should have questioned my more experienced moms for advice. I'll remember to keep picture appointments secret from now on! :)
This picture is awesome! I love it :-) All three of them have things they would much rather be doing, apparently... Julia is the prize, though, isn't she!
