Coloring

For Christmas, we bought Julia some special crayons for drawing on glass. The closet door in the kids' room is mirrored so we thought she'd have fun drawing on it. She did.

It took a bit, but once I showed her it was okay to draw on the doors, she got to scribbling:


Here you can see she still switches to her left hand for the precise scribbling:


What was Dax up to during all this time? Well, in the bottom left corner of the picture directly above, you can see he was trying to sneak into the dresser drawer while Mommy was distracted. However, he soon began admiring Julia's handiwork:


And watched her draw for a bit:


He even tried to get a turn with the crayon, but Julia wasn't going to allow that! (Neither was Mama since these crayons turn mushy FAST when they are chewed and I didn't feel like cleaning out his mouth):
