'Shtick

One of Julia's favorite "copycats" right now is putting on her Chapstick. She knows where several of my hiding spots around the house are (I'm always putting on Chapstick and have it tucked away in every room). She runs to a drawer, points at it and says, " 'Shtick! 'Shtick!" over and over again. She's actually (usually) quite sweet and (usually) looks to me for permission rather than just reaching in and grabbing it like she used to do. And since you catch more bees with honey, she usually gets permission to get out her 'Shtick and put it on. Especially since she can now get the lid off and on by herself. Sometimes the Chapstick even makes it on her lips ...
