Over and Over and Over and Over ...

Julia has become rather repetitive these days ...

1) In the car, she watches for round, brightly colored objects. When she sees one, she announces, "BA-OON!!! BA-OON!!!" over and over and over until you acknowledge her siting with, "Balloons!!" And as we pass she starts with, "Bye-bye, ba-oon! Bye-bye, ba-oon!" until someone else also says farewell to the balloons.

2) A few days ago, Julia was not feeling well and was awake when Dave headed to work. We opened the curtains so we could watch him walk to his car and drive away. We waved and called, "Bye-bye, Daddy!!" many, many times. And then, the entire day, every time she walked by that window, Julia would call out, "Bye-bye, Daddy!!" over and over again. Do you have any idea how many times she goes by that window in a day?!?

3) Yesterday, Julia talked with her Nanna on the phone and at the end of their conversation, she said, "Bye-bye, Nonnie!" Our phone rang quite a bit that day and every time I hung up the phone, Julia said, "Bye-bye, Nonnie!" over and over again. Several times, she picked up the phone, brought it to me and told me, "Bye-bye, Nonnie!!"
