... and I have found my fist with my mouth, but I still prefer my pacifier.
... and even though I still need to be swaddled at night, I am strong enough and wiggle enough that I unwrap myself very quickly.

... and my skin is like my mama's and turns purplish when I get cold.
... and I still have my birthmark on the back of my neck, right at my hairline.
... and when my parents put me in my crib when I don't want to go to sleep, I wiggle myself until my head touches the edge of the crib.
... and though I still love my purple giraffe, I have found the yellow lion and made friends with her.
... and I have much more control over my head now. I can hold it up when I am being burped and look around.
... and if I decide I am ready to eat again, I can throw my head backwards to let you know.
... and I smile a lot.
... and my eyes still cross sometimes, but not as much.
... and the Echo Dog likes to lick my hands, feet and legs.
... and I talk to myself, other people and toys with a babbling mixture of grunts, squeals and squeaks.
... and when I am being fed or held on the couch, I love to stare at the striped curtains.
Love,
Julia
