No pictures or video today ... or probably tomorrow. Sorry.
We spent a ton of time last night trying to figure out how to get the ultrasound transferred from the VHS tape into a digital format. We think we have an idea for how to get that to happen, but the process involves ordering an extra part for Dave's computer. It sounds like an overly expensive solution, but I figure we can make up the money by offering our VHS to DVD transfer services over the Internet. (If anyone knows of a place in Knoxville that does this for less than FORTY DOLLARS, let me know and we can maybe get the video out sooner. I'm just not willing to pay that much for a one-time transfer of a twenty-minute snippet of video. Edited: Yes, I know you can find cheaper places on-line, but I really, really don't want to send the video off through the mail.)
We were very disappointed with the quality of the pictures taken this time around. They were very blurry. We took so much time with the video last night that we ran out of energy, patience and time to set up the scanner. I might try scanning them later today.
So, no pictures, no video and no name.

My friend/co-worker Sam has done this on his computer. I will ask him if he knows of anywhere.
I'm hoping Dave's idea will work. I just didn't see paying that much money even if I want people to be all impressed with the video.
