Fortune

When my parents were helping us get the house ready to move into, my mom and I were puzzled by this restaurant on Callahan. I've never heard of a panda that mimics a koala, but maybe one exists.

I'm not a big fan of Asian cuisine, but Thursday night as we drove by, I experienced a sudden craving and suggested we try it out. I had the honey chicken dinner special which included a good sized portion of honey chicken, fried rice and an eggroll. Dave took my leftovers to work the next day for lunch. Which meant when it came time for Friday dinner and I was craving honey chicken, we had to go back! Yummy stuff!
My only complaint is the fortune cookies. They have a faint lemon tang to them. My fortune cookie preferences lean more toward vanilla. No fruity overtones, please. And the fortunes were horrible. "Your future is boundless as the lofty heaven." "Sell not virtue to purchase wealth, nor liberty to purchase power." I haven't found a good fortune in a cookie in a long time.
With the exception of Dave's fortune from BQ's when we visited this past December with his family:
"You will get some new clothes."
It came true, too.

Remember that you have to add 'between the sheets' to get a really good fortune cookie fortune... ;-)
