1) Dax will stand in front of you with his fingers in his ears chanting, "You can't hear me. You can't hear me."
2) When playing, Julia will occasionally tell Dax that she is a princess and for the rest of the afternoon (or until she tells him she's "Just Julia") he'll call her "Princess" whenever he talks to her.
3) The other day the kids were playing and I heard this conversation:
Julia: Okay, Dax. I the princess.Dax: Okay, princess. Lie down.Julia: Kiss me, Dax.Dax: Okay, princess.Julia: No, Dax, on my lips, not my knee.
4) Often I'll hear Dax asking for "Mommy?" When I answer, he tells me, "No, Mommy! Dee-ya the Mommy!!!" They love playing Mommy & Baby.
5) Dax can say Julia's name correctly, he just chooses not to make the effort. I'm okay with this because I think him calling her "Dee-ya" is cute.
6) If anyone else tries to call her "Dee-ya," Julia will tell them "No, I just Julia!"
7) They both love playing with feet. Weird. They'll talk to them. They'll open with "Hello, feet!!" and then continue asking them questions and talking to them. Not sure what to make of this.
8) Playing doctor is a favorite. Every ailment is diagnosed as "You have a loose tooth!"
9) If given the opportunity, Julia will choose "a meat sandwich from Arby's" as her meal 99 out of 100 times.
10) Dax will come out to check what I'm doing then I'll hear him go back in their room and say, "It okay, Dee-ya. Mom busy. Go ahead." He apparently doesn't yet know how to whisper.

too funny! I love the "It's okay, Mom's busy one!"
cute stuff!
I particularly LOVE the loose tooth ailment. Brenna has been insisting for months now that her first tooth is loose. :)
awww... love those especially being called "princess! :)
Jana-Julia tells complete strangers that she has a loose tooth. I think it has now sort of become her way of introducing herself.
so funny! It's great that you're writing these down so that you (and the kids) don't forget!
