Just to be clear ...
They each have a bed. I put Julia's old mattress next to Dax's new toddler bed because I don't care how low you set the mattress smacking your face on the hardwood floor as you fall out of bed is not conducive to a good night's sleep. This particular morning, when I walked into their room, I discovered that they had both decided to share Dax's backup mattress.
