He Actually Knows What A Road Is Now

Dax's first Christmas, we totally took advantage of the fact that he was less than a year old, couldn't talk or walk and had no way of letting us know if he enjoyed a toy or hated it. So when grandparents asked what to get him for Christmas, they were given ideas for toys that were aimed at an older child, but were well made and interesting. Nanna and Pappa got him this cool road mat as well as the blocks that go with it. The other day, Dax finally played on it with cars rather than just using it as a place to sit down. AND, he kept his car in the lanes. For the most part. Which is about all I can ask since I've been his main source of driving expertise. :)

And he's asked each day to have the mat unrolled so he can drive his cars on it. I'd say that's a good indication of a successful gift!
