Sunday School

We had a great time over at the Duncans' house for our SS party last night. I feel a little bad because we pretty much trashed their house ... well, the kids trashed the play room. The adults were loud, but less destructive. We did try to help clean up, but it was pretty wild. Then Andrew and friends thought it would be funny to sneak up on us and scare us by popping up in the doorway and giving a blast on his accordian. It was. And it worked. On me at least. If I have accordian nightmares, I know who to blame!! :)

Pictures, pictures, pictures ...

Gaige collected sticks

Julia tried to collect sticks, but she was more interested in watching Gaige.

The Duncans have an awesome tree swing that was a huge hit with most of the kids (and Lindsay):

I think he soared above everybody.

Gwyneth wasn't as willing to fly high

Natalie was fearless

Will had a blast

This is not a picture of Mallory having fun.

She preferred less acrobatic pursuits

This is the only picture I got of Lindsay giving it a try.
Sorry about that.

Julia thought it looked like fun so she took a turn.
She swung once or twice and then was "All Done"

When it began getting dark, we headed inside to the food. And there was A LOT of it: queso, seven-layer dip, chicken quesadillas, salad, potato soup, bread, chicken nuggets, dirt cake, cookie sandwiches, peanut butter pie, cookies ...

Shawna slept

Shawna's mom ate.
(Hi, Liz!)

One of the kids' tables

Wesley downed most of his mom's soup and his dad's Sprite! :)

Neal tested Andrew's mad piano playin' skillz
(And I'm extremely thankful there was no video evidence of the goofy ladies singing along to Dancing Queen during this time)

The Playroom
(This was pre-dinner ... it only got worse ... )

DaxMan was using his screwdriver appropriately
Dave was proud
And Jo got a birthday present idea! HA!

Mr. Greg played with Julia

Near the end of the evening, Matthew crashed in Mrs. Tricia's lap for storytime.

great pictures - looks like everyone had fun. And I love the swing, that would be awesome for a kid (and an adult). :)

I'm still on the fact that the adults were less destructive. LOL! It usually doesn't work that way.

Thanks for taking the pics. I love the one of Joshua on the swing above the trees. That was a real fun night.
