We started work around 9:30 am and kept going until it was too dark to see. The kids played outside for a bit, but their medicine kicked in around 10:30 am or so and they headed to bed for several hours. Not that I want my kids to be sick, but this turned out to be a really nice opportunity for Dave and I to work uninterrupted for about four hours!!!
Julia is in love with the Radio Flyer wagon my grandparents bought her for Christmas last year. She insisted on being pulled around every fifteen minutes or so. Putting her stuffed animals in the wagon and letting her pull them was not acceptable. She had to be the one in the wagon. And I can't blame her. It's much more fun to be pulled than to do the pulling. She also spent a bit of time throwing gravel in the air so that it would land on her head and eating gravel. Bright kid we've got. :)
Here are the before pictures. I don't have after pictures because we're not done yet!! This is a huge job. I wanted to let you know that if you call today and no one answers, it's not because we're out or don't want to talk to you, it's because the phone is too far away and we can't move fast enough to get up and answer it!
