I Am Five Months Old Today ...

... and I weigh 18 pounds.
... and I drink four 7-8 ounce bottles of Similac a day with almost exactly four hours between feedings.
... and I go to bed at 8 pm and usually wake up between 6:30 - 7:00 am.
... and I take one longish nap and two little naps most days (if it is quiet).
... and I'm very good at rolling from my back to my front.
... and when I roll over, I always swing my right arm and leg over the top and roll to the left.
... and if I am sleepy, I rub my eyes.
... and I still use my pacifier.
... and I sometimes suck on the first two fingers of my hand or the thumb and forefinger of my hand or all of my fingers.
... and I can get a little overenthusiastic about the finger sucking and shove them so far in my mouth I choke myself.
... and I love to watch my big sister.
... and when I first get hungry, I talk and talk and talk; then I start loudly moaning; then I start to cry.
... and I will talk your ears off!
... and I do not like to be left in a room by myself.
... and I put myself to sleep very well at night, but I fight going to sleep so hard during nap time.
... and Mommy can tell I'm at the end of the fight when I've flipped to my tummy and am crying while rubbing my face in the bed. I'm so tired then that I can't even lift my head to turn it from side to side.
... and I have started to keep an eye on Echo Dog as well.
... and I make so many funny faces. Mama and Daddy love to talk to me and watch my expressions.
... and I smile and giggle a lot.
... and if I see something I want and it's close by, I can reach out and grab it!
... and I like to try to gnaw on everything I can get my hands on.
... and I'm getting pretty good at pushing with my feet enough to get my butt in the air and wiggle myself around. Mommy finds me in all kinds of strange places and already misses when she could lay me down and know I'd be right there when she came back.
... and I enjoy spending time on the Pack N Play mattress or in my exersaucer or in my Johnny Jump Up or in my Bumbo seat or in my baby rocker.
... and all the ladies at the nursery in church love me.
