Dave and I have become really good at remembering to take off our shoes as we come in the house. It helps keep the house cleaner and also keeps us from tracking in nasty stuff from outside for Julia to stick in her mouth. However, I wonder why we even bother when I tend to find her by the front door or in our room gnawing on the sole of one of my shoes.
