Enough!

Okay, no complaining in this post ... Julia has some new tricks she wants to show off ...

She's become quite accomplished at walking behind her Walk 'n Ride.

She still crawls behind it sometimes. Her favorite thing to do is push it into things ... the wall, the couch, her toys, and (when she can) Echo.

She's also become good at taking some steps between two objects that are fairly close. No more than four steps, please or she just decides to crawl. Here she seems to be more interested in her cup than in walking. "No, Dad! I'm not gonna walk!"

Mom was sitting too far away so she's dropping down to crawl. These were taken after church and Julia was WAY overdue for her nap ...

So we reward the sleepy baby effort with kisses anyway.

"Mom, don't you think it's time for my nap?"

And we don't have pictures or video yet, but she's REALLY turned into a talker. Not so that anyone can understand, but you know that in her head what she's saying makes sense. The other day she turned her head just as I was trying to feed her and I accidentally jabbed her in the eye. She started crying and in between sobs was just fussing at me and telling me exactly what she thought of my clumsiness. And she got her point across quite well for not using any words!

She's learning so much and it is definitely fun to watch. We are so proud of her, but also dreading the end of her "baby" days.
