Play Date

We went to the Herrings' house the other day to visit and let Julia and Mekenzie play together. It was the first time the girls had seen each other and not been confined to their strollers. A little eye poking and some hitting on the head with a wooden spoon ... it's all fun and games unless someone is crying. And with the exception of Joanna crying about how badly the Tigers played, it was all fun and games!

Speaking of the Sesame Street play set in the picture...When nobody was looking I hid one of the characters in the hiding spot I found when I had that same toy as a kid. I almost wasn't able to...my hands are a little bigger now than they were back then. Can anyone rescue the plastic Muppet?

Hehehehe...I think Mekenzie already found him (was it Ernie?). I never knew there was a secret hiding spot until Joanna mentioned it to me on the phone this morning. =) Great photo! I wonder who took it?

Mekenzie is Ernie's hero!!

My mom said that mine doesn't have many of the original characters left. They were probably gone pretty early because I really only remember playing with Roosevelt Franklin, Big Bird and The Count.

Mom has a bunch of the original characters but I'm not sure if they all came with the clubhouse or the farm or the train. Mom has the train and the farm at their house with the rest of the lil' people.

Does your clubhouse still have the tire swing? I must have ripped it off pretty early on...I never knew that it was a tire swing until I saw ONE of them on Ebay where it was still attached. All of the others were missing their tire swings as well.
