Dr. McKeown said everything looks/sounds great. I was a little disheartened by the fact that he walked in and said, "Oh yeah. You're showing some now, aren't you?" :) Especially since I know it's just my belly getting larger, not The Squirt poking out.
The heartbeat was 160 bpm. I told the doctor it was funny because with Julia it was always so hard to find her heartbeat and just when Dr. Talley had found it, Julia would shift and the search would start over again. Dr. McKeown claimed credit for The Squirt's beat being easy to locate. I told him that was fine, I just didn't want it to be a case of The Squirt behaving in the womb because once it came out it would start being difficult! :)
We go in for the ultrasound on October 17. So Julia will know if she's getting a little brother or sister!
(Thanks Christopher for making this doctor visit go so much more smoothly by babysitting Julia. It was so quick and easy to park the car and just get out and go without having to worry about car seats, toys, strollers, bottles, etc. Plus, those exam rooms are not at all roomy!)
