I Am Eight Months Old Today ...

... and I make the cutest little gurgling purr when I'm content.
... and I can crawl.
... and I can pull up.
... and I have two tiny (but sharp!) teeth.
... and I am eating squash, carrots, sweet potatoes, green beans and bananas now.
... and I love to chase Echo around.
... and I am captivated by Clifford the Big Red Dog on TV.
... and I enjoy playing with things like Tupperware and empty Pampers Sensitive Wipes packages rather than my toys. My current favorite is a ladle and brown paper sack from Panera.
... and I know how to clap! Yeah Julia!
... and when I want to know how something tastes, I usually move my mouth to it rather than bringing it to my mouth.
... and I weigh 20 lbs!!
... and I love to play in my bathtub. I learned how to SPLASH!
... and I'm trying to switch to taking only one nap a day, but I still get VERY cranky in the afternoons if I do.
... and I will play in my crib until I hear people moving around, then I want out!
... and I am very ticklish.
... and I have the greatest laugh EVER!
... and one of my favorite toys is my Mama's two-pound dumbell.
... and I have a Super-Duper Clingy Monkey Grip.
... and I give kisses, sort of. If you lean close and pucker up, I'll lick your lips.
... and I am almost brave enough to crawl off the blanket onto the grass.
... and I get a kick out of feeling the air blow my hair from the floor vents.
... and I hate to smile for the camera.
... and I love playing in front of my mirrored closet doors.
... and I still wake up all smiles.
... and I get giggly when my Daddy swings me upside down.
... and my favorite people are those with glasses.
