Our friend Laura posted pictures of our trip to the zoo. Laura and her daughter Mekenzie met Julia and I at the zoo on Thursday. It was SO hot even though we went at 10 am. It was fun and I bought the dual membership for an adult and unnamed guest. (When Dave and I go, he'll be my unnamed guest, of course!) Oh! And I discovered as I was rushing out the door that our camera battery had run down because I forgot to switch the camera off. That's why I have no pictures from Julia's first zoo visit.
