Julia woke up on her first Easter morning and "discovered" a huge basket filled with all kinds of great things: books (Five Little Monkeys, Incey Wincey Spider and On Easter Sunday), a stuffed tiger, chopsticks, a kid-sized freezer mug with a straw, pink Converse, infant spoons for when she starts her cereal later this month, vinyl bibs for the cereal eating experience, a Mama rubber duckie with her two babies, and an Easter dress knitted by her Gran. Basically, any cute thing that Mommy couldn't resist buying in the past month. Plus we took advantage of circumstances as well so things that Julia will need soon and any small gifts she has received lately went into the Easter basket. The "basket" is actually a plastic tub that will be used to keep Julia's "living room" toys in one spot. I cut out and taped the flowers to it so it would seem more "Eastery."

We ended up deciding to travel to McMinnville for Easter weekend. It was a lot of fun, but a blog entry will have to wait until we have recovered a little bit. :)
