Today's Challenge:
Take Echo to the vet for shots with Julia in tow.
Original Plan:
Put Julia in her carrier leaving my hands free to deal with Echo.
Problem:
Temperatures in the mid-30s
Revised Plan:
Keep Julia in her warm car seat.
Issues to Resolve:
1) Do I put Julia in her stroller? It would be less work for my back and puny arms, but then I'm lumbering around with this huge stroller that gets in the way and takes two hands to steer. This is okay when we're at the park and have a wide, open space, but yesterday's PETsMART excursion was close to a disaster. And Echo likes to go to PETsMART.
2) If I carry Julia in I can't take Echo at the same time. Do I take the baby in first and leave her in the waiting room while I get the dog? Take the dog in and ask someone to hold her leash? How about when I leave?
This is seriously what I expend my brain power on these days. And I'm honestly finding it more challenging than keeping a middle school library running smoothly.

Sounds to me like you need a puppy carrier with a car seat that's attached to top. With the whole thing on wheels, to boot.
Someone should really get on inventing that.
...and the rowboat will only fit the man and EITHER the fox, the chicken OR the bag of corn at a time...
