She sat in her Bumbo for the first time. She still doesn't quite have the head control to make it an enjoyable experience, but she tolerated it for a couple of minutes. (She's also found her right fist in the past week. She moved quickly from watching it wave around to trying to cram it in her mouth. She tries to suck on it, but it's too big to fit enough of it in for her to get a good grip and she won't unclench it and suck on only a thumb or a couple of fingers. It's pretty funny to watch her get so frustrated with it. She's noticed her left fist, but seems content to leave it be until she gets the right one to fully cooperate. I guess she doesn't want them to gang up on her. It would be two against one and that's just not fair.)

The weather has been so nice we've been hanging outside with Echo Dog. (Julia has started to notice Echo. Julia watches her very closely when Echo comes into her line of sight and has even laughed at some of Echo's antics.)

The other day, I dressed Julia up all cute in her blue jeans, a long sleeve onesie and sweater from Old Navy. We tried to get a picture of her JuliaGrin, but she didn't want to cooperate.
She showed us her "Huh?" face ...
