Guess Who Has A New Toy?

No, it's not Julia this time. It's Julia's mom! I've been saving my allowance and any Christmas or birthday money I've received for a while and finally built my "Mad Money" account up enough to buy it. I had to decide between it and a new 80 GB iPod since I filled up my old iPod with audiobooks. (I've decided this is geeky only if you are NOT a librarian! If you are a librarian, then having an iPod filled with audiobooks is nothing but cool.) However, I figured that over the next couple of years, I would probably get more use out of



a cool new camera!





I've been playing with it for the past two days. It's so much fun! I've posted some new pictures on our Flickr account taken with the camera, and you can look forward to seeing a LOT more.

We always thought Echo was so cute when she walked because her ears would bounce up and down ... just a little. It made it seem like she was trying to be cool, but was so excited about going on a walk that her ears just couldn't help it. I never knew how much her ears flopped around while she was running until this picture. This is Julia doing her Tummy Time in her crib. I could use the wide angle view of the lens, stick the camera in her crib and take the picture. Awesome.
