FINALLY!!

I met my friend Kristi when the two of us worked at Bearden Middle School together. She and her husband John live less than a mile from us. Even though we've only been over there a couple of times, we're still excited to live so close to each other. And now, beside our friendship, we have another reason ...
Kristi and John have been stalled in the adoption process for what seems like ten years, but has really been about two. Last Thursday, they received the referral call for their daughter!!! She was born November 24, 2005 in the Hubei province of China. They don't know yet when they'll receive approval to travel to China and pick her up, but hope to be there in mid- to late January! The Peanut seems to be a little jealous because she already has a name: Kaylene Jiamarie Letsinger. (The link to their website chronicling their adoption journey is to the right.)



So, The Peanut will have a buddy living nearby!
