Week 15: Yes, Virginia, there is a baby in there

Being the obedient type (Mom, Dad, Dave, quit laughing!), I bring you our newest blog addition: Baby Belly Update. Of course, right now there's not much to see as The Peanut only weighs about 1 1/2 ounces. However, the youngun' has definitely moved up and is taking advantage of the protective layer of fat I've been developing. If you were to come up and push on my belly, you could definitely feel a hard little ball. Dave and I spend a lot of time preparing our child for the annoyance of having us as parents by poking at it fairly regularly.

Here's the Baby Belly at Week 15. There's not much to see even though I can no longer fit into my pants or jeans, but it seemed like a good place to start.

It had just rained and was still sprinkling when we took the picture so Echo had to stay inside and watch from behind the door. Her life is rough.

We will be headed to Bristol, VA this afternoon for my cousin's wedding. We were going to try to drive up Saturday morning, go to the wedding and reception and drive back that evening, but since we have cancelled all vacation plans for the year to save Dave's personal time at work for when The Peanut arrives, we decided to make a weekend of it. We'll be back Sunday evening and will try to remember to take the cell phone and charger with us. :)
